We are currently looking for authors for DLT 2027. 

We have taken on a sponsorship for the Iranian author Peyman Farahavar and the Iranian writer Golrokh Iraee. Anyone can get involved; ready-made letters and addresses are available to help you show your support. 

On 30 April 2026, a very constructive meeting took place with the mayor of Kirchheimbolanden, during which Dr Muchow indicated his willingness to make a council flat available to an author in exile in due course. This would be funded by a grant from PEN Germany (or via the BKM = Federal Ministry of Culture and Media). This still requires the approval of the town’s culture committee.

Heidi Zies, our honorary member, was awarded the Medal of Merit by the State of Rhineland-Palatinate on 8 May 2026 in recognition of her voluntary work.
